THIRD PERSON'S POV :
(Flashback)
"Baba please" Aatish pleaded in front of his father
"No means no, you are only 21 is this your age to get married? And I will never accept any other girl as your wife except my niece" His father busted on him
"Baba I'll never do Marriage with your niece, I don't like her and I will marry with only Maryam" Aatish yelled and his father glared him.
"Do what ever you want to do but I'm not going to give you a single penny from my property if you will do Marriage with any other girl except Pariza" his father roared and he huffed.
"I'll marry only Maryam, stop me if you can. And Pariza my foot... Don't you think even in your dreams that I'll marry with your dear neice Pariza." Aatish roared and moved towards the door with long steps, his mother fiollowed him.
"Aatish listen"
"Ammi is left to listen? Baba is not ready for My marriage and on the other hand Maryam's father wants to marry her off as soon as he could? Should I wait that she got married with someone else?" Aatish asked to his mother in loud voice and his mother held his arm.
"Aatish think before taking any decision. Its not a game play its about marriage." his mother said and and he huffed
"Ammi you come with mE and talk to Maryam's father about us. Talk to him to wait some time or make baba agree for my marriage." Aatish demanded and his mother shook her head
"No, you can't do Marriage to any other girl, you are committed for Pariza since childhood. We asked for her for you when she born" His mother said and Aatish throw the flower pot down from the table to drew out his anger.
"Did I said you to fixed my alliance with Her? Ammi I was only four when you took a big decision of my life, and I don't like her" saying that Aatish left the home with loud footsteps and he went to Maryam's home.
Sabir (Maryam's father) gave him only two days to took his parents but even after five days his parents were only agreed
On the other hand Maryam was in worse condition, she was trying to talk to her parents but they were not trusting her. She was confused what should she do..
Should she be happy because her own father was agreed for her marriage with Aatish or should she be sad because of distrust of her parents.
"Abbu.. Abbu.. Please... Pleasee... Trust on me... I wasn't going anywhere with Aatish" Maryam said in hushed tone and while holding hand of her father.
"Trust.. This word don't suits to your mounth" her mother said and she cried.
"Abbu... Ammi"
"Aatish wanted to meet me so I just went to the main door to meet Him and then I was coming back when you watched me Abbu" Maryam said everything for fifth time from that day but her mother was not agree to ready.
"Fine, for a moment I believe you that you were not running away with him. But you were going to meet a na-mehram in midnight, its nothing wrong in your eyes?" Sabir (Maryam's father) asked and Maryam was answerless, she was wrong on her place but her parents were giving her punishment more than her offence.
" That Boy still didn't bring his parents to marry you. Look that's why I was saying that he is not a correct person" Sabir said and Maryam felt a pang in her heart after thinking about the same
After few minutes everyone heard a knock on the door and Maham went to open the door.
"Abbu there is a boy who is saying he is Aatish" Maham informed her father and he looked at his wife.
"Maham you go in the room" Her mother instructed and Maham did so. Aatish entered in the home where Sabir and Anisa was sitting and Maryam was peeping inside the room, she was hiding behind the door.
"Uncle my parents are not agree for our marriage, you please give me some time. I'll make them agree and then I'll come with them. And if you're in hurry to marry off Maryam then I am ready to do nikkah at the same time" Aatish put his point in front of Sabir and he looked at his wife
"Listen carefully, if your parents are not agree then..." Sabir was saying but got interrupted when Maryam entered in the room with baby steps.
"Maryam" Aatish uttered her name in whispered when looked at her face which was showing red marks due to the slap which she got from her mother.
"Why are you beating her? How can you hurt her?" Aatish asked with disappointment and Sabir fisted his hands.
"Aatish... Please.. He is my abbu" Maryam said in whispered loking at her father then Aatish.
"Only this thing is left that an unknown boy come and teach me how to treat you" Sabir said in disappointment and Glared His daughter.
"Abbu.. I'm"
"Bring few people with you Do nikkah and take away this girl from my home." Sabir said to Aatish and Maryam looked at him with shocked expressions
"But Maryam you will never be allowed to come back here, neither we will be alive for you nor you will exist for us" Sabir said and Maryam cried
"No abbu... Please.. I'm your Maryam how can you do this to me?" she pleaded.
"Maryam if our parents are not agree for our marriage then what's the matter of pleading in front of them" Aatish said arrogantly and Sabir glared him then his daughter.
"I don't trust you anymore, other day you went to meet him when he demanded. If I fixed your wedding with someone else you will run away with him leaving us for humiliated by society" Sabir said and Maryam shook her head but no benefits
Trust is like a mirror if gets cracked once it can't be fixed again.
In the end Aatish got agreed to bring few people for Nikkah at the same day. Maryam was in mixed emotions she was happy for Her marriage with Aatish but she never wanted her marriage like that. She pleaded in front of her parents but they didn't even glanced at her
Her mother ordered her to change in some good available clothes. And she followed her order. She packed her clothes then took a shower and wear a blue and yellow suit which was best of her collection.
"Maryam Aapi" she listened a whispered when she was crying sitting on bed. She lifted her head to saw the the owner of voice. That was Maham
"Where are you going aapi?" Maham asked innocently and Maryam kissed her cheek
"I... I don't know babu where I'm going?" Maryam replied in hushed tone and her little sister kissed her cheek.
"Aapi, Razi bhai was saying that its your wedding!" Maham stated and Maryam nodded while wiping her tears.
"When is your marriage?"
"Today" Maryam said in hushed tone and Maham smiled happily.
"Aapi what will I wear? Ammi didn't make my clothes?" She complained and at the same time her brother entered in the room.
"Maham what are you doing here? Go to the room" Razi ordered her and she shook her head.
"What you both are doing in her room. I said to not come in this room." Anisa (Maryam's mother) scolded both her children.
"Ammi it's Maryam Aapi's marriage" Maham asked excitedly but full of innocence
"No, nothing like that, you go in the room" Maham nodded on her mother's order and left the room.
"Get ready your Abbu must be coming back in few minutes with Qazi and other people.
"Ammi I never wanted anything like this" She pleaded but her mother left the room with tear filled eyes.
After some three hours...
"I do"
"I do"
"I do"
Maryam said while crying and her father left the room with tear filled eyes.
"Abbu" going towards him Maryam hugged him and his eyes shade few tears.
"I don't like this boy, but you choose him for yourself so never complaint about your what face in your life" Sabir said while breaking the hug.
==============
Maryam was standing on the doorstep on Aatish's home and witnessing the ongoing scene with flowing eyes.
"From Where do you bring this girl?" Aatish's mother asked while pointing towards Maryam.
"Maryam come here" Extending his hand Aatish said to his newly wedded bride and she stepped towards him.
"Don't you dare to take a single step in my house." Aatish's Father roared and Maryam jumped on her place due to that sudden sound.
"She is my wife, and she will live here with me." Aatish said confidently looking in his father's eyes which was red due to anger
"She is not allowed to enter in my home. You too get out from my home." His father roared and his mother looked at him with shock expression
"Aatish why you did Marriage without our permission? We don't have any space for this girl in our home" His mother asked loudly and angrily and Aatish grabbed Maryam's hand.
"You were not giving me permission so I was left with no option but to marry her." Aatish said and his mother and father glared him.
"Get out of my home." Maryam was shocked on what Aatish's father said.
"Aatish where will we go?" Maryam asked with wildly beating heart and Aatish held her hand with tangled fingers.
"Don't worry" He whispered looking at her.
"I'm not going anywhere, it's my home too" Saying that Aatish stepped towards his room holding Maryam's hand in one hand and her bag in other hand.
"If you want to live in this home then live but I won't allow this girl in my home" His father roared
"Baba she is my wife now" Aatish said angrily.
"Get out of my home with your wife"
Aatish was shocked on his father's stubbornness, he didn't allowed Maryam and his own son in the house. He literally pushed Aatish out from the home.
"Aatish where will we go now?" Maryam asked with concern when they both were standing in the doorway of Aatish's home and the door were closed for them.
"I don't know where will we go but I'll do something. You don't cry" Wiping her tears he said and she nodded.
When Aatish didn't get anything to do he went to his friend's house and luckily his mother allowed Maryam to stay in her house for few days but he didn't allow Aatish to stay in her home.
Maryam stay in Aatish's friend's home for two days and she was anxious but her love towards Aatish was giving her support and strength to face all the problems which life was serving her.
She was sitting in the room which was provided to her, when she drew out her diary from her bag.
Dear Diary....
I wanted to do Marriage with Aatish but not like this. Abbu didn't do my rukhsati (farewell) but after nikkah he said to Aatish to took me with him.
He didn't even looked at me and I was trying to hug Ammi but she didn't looked at me. She turned her face to other side. when I tried to talk to Maham and Razi, Ammi didn't let me talk to Maham she said that she don't want to make Maham like me. I cried on her words but Aatish held my hand and took me out from the home. Before leaving the home my gaze went to the mirror and I found myself as the simplest bride of this word.
I didn't groomed myself, I just wore the best dress I had and tired my hair in loose and low ponytail. I didn't even applied lipstick or kajal.. My hands were plane without any trace of mehndi.
Is this any rule of life when it give you one thing then it took away another thing as its cost..
If yes... Then
Life took away a huge cost from me. I got Aatish as my husband but I lost my father's love and my family's trust....
I don't know its a reasonable deal or not but I can't imagine my life without Abbu's support
I want Aatish as well as Abbu...
Maryam Naaz...
No..
Now it's..
Maryam AATISH.
Maryam closed her diary and put that back to her bag.
"Maryam.." She listened a voice and wiped her tears.
"Ji aunty?"
(yeah)
Mother of Aatish's friend treated Maryam very kindly. She entered in the room and found Maryam crying
"Aatish got a home for you two, he will take you with him at night" Maryam listened that and she became happy, but smile was offended with her lips, she just nodded with lower gaze.
"Be ready before he came" That lady said and Maryam looked at her, then nodded but she didn't had anything to be ready. That lady called her daughter and applied mehndi in Maryam's hands, but Maryam was sitting silently
"Why you girls don't understand that your parents reputation is not small thing. It seems you belongs to a good family, then why you took such step beta?" That lady asked to Maryam and she was silent
"Aunty I never wanted anything like this I wanted Aatish but my abbu.. My abbu is the best abbu of this word.. I never wanted to hurt his reputation." Maryam cried
"What was meant to be done have done. Now focus on your life and Try to be happy. You can come here if you miss your mother." That lady said and Maryam nodded half heartedly.
Maryam got ready at night, she wore a pistatue green suit, which was very simple for a newly wedded girl, but she didn't had any other clothes. She had only that type of clothes which an unmarried girl could were not a new bride like her. She applied lipstick which that lady her.
At the same time she heard a knock on the door of her room. She made her stand and open the door. Aatish was standing there. He smiled looking at her but she didn't smile
"Shall we go?" Aatish asked and Maryam nodded. Aatish picked her bag and Maryam moved towards that lady she hugged Maryam and patted her head.
"Where is the home?" Maryam asked in hushed tone when they both came out fron the home of Aatish's friend
"In between your and my home" Aatish replied and Maryam lifted her head to saw him then nodded.
"Where is your bike?" Maryam asked when Aatish stopped an auto-rickshaw. He held her hand and sat in the auto rickshaw.
"When I went to home to take my clothes and all the other things, Baba took my bike keys. He said that I can't afford bike on my own bases, he purchased that for me, so he took that back" Aatish informed and Maryam nodded with down face.
"Hey no need to be sad, Maryam. I'll buy a new bike. And I found a job too." Aatish said with a smile and Maryam nodded.
