THIRD PERSON'S POV

"Tie your answer Sheets only five minutes are left'' Invigilator announced and everyone started to write in more speed.

After all the exam was over.

"Muskan" Maizah took step towards her but she moved out from the classroom where colonel was waiting for her.

"What happened to her?" Anzala asked to Arham and he shrugged halfheartly. But Maizah took long steps towards Muskan who was going towards the car with her father.

Arham was thinking that Muskan had read that message due to which she was maintaining distance with him but actually Muskan was thinking that Arham loves someone else, she didn't had any idea about the message send by Arham because that was read and deleted by Colonel Arsalan Haidar.

'She isn't in my fate, she loves Anzala and she is going to get married with that army person... I'm nothing for her.' Arham said to himself and decided to forget Muskan.

"Muskan.... Muskan wait.." Maizah said loudly which made stop Arsalan Haidar as well as Muskan in between the way.

"Today is Rumi Aapi's mehndi.. And..." Maizah stopped in between because Arsalan Haidar was watching her.

"And what?" Muskan asked meekly.

"And my engagement... Will you come? Please come Musu cat please please" Muskan was surprised to listen what Maizah said while holding her hand and both girls looked at Arsalan Haidar in requesting way.

"With whom you are going to get engaged?" Muskan asked suddenly and Maizah smiled.

"Anzu" she mouthed and Muskan smiled but she couldn't say anything in front of her father so just nodded.

"Auncle please send Muskan, please" Maizah requested and Arsalan Haidar rolled the corner of his moustache but nodded.

"Why not?" Maizah smiled happily but Muskan jerk her head as she knew her father was only saying that but won't send her. In the time being Arham and Anzala also come near the entrance of college where both Maizah and Muskan were standing with Colonel.

"Yaar I can't imagine how Muskan, use to live with this man in same home" Anzala whispered in Arham's ear and he nodded but they both made their way towards their bikes, ignoring the girls, Arsalan Haidar glared Arham with deadly sight, and ordered Muskan to sit in car.

"Maizah Anzala I have a good news for you" Arham said when Muskan was gone from there

"Anzu let go.... I have to select my clothes and then apply mehndi" Maizah said in hurry.

"What good news?" Anzala asked with happiness.

"Your..." Arham's sentence was cut off by Maizah

"Arham.. Dude give this new tonight... For now let us go we are already getting late." Maizah said in single breath "Anzu chal yaar...." She added and soon they were out from Arham's sight.

All the boys were gathered in Anzala's room and all the ladies were in hall busy in decorating their hands with mehndi.

"Ammi bhukh lag rahi hai.." Maizah said like a child, her both hands were covered with mehndi so she couldn't eat by her hands

(Ammi I'm hungry)

"Humne kaha tha, pehle khana khaa lo phir mehndi lagwana... Magar tum log to hamari baat sunte hi nhi ho" Monima scolded her

(We had already told you to have lunch first then apply mehndi but you people don't listen to us)

"Ho gai galti... Ab kya bhukha marna padega?" Maizah said with a pout and everyone show their hands which were filled with mehndi.

(Oaky I'm admitting my mistake but it doesn't mean that I'll be starving)

At the same time Maizah witnessed Adnaad going upstairs

"Adnaad, I'm hungry, feed me with your own hands" Maizah demanded and Adnaan clenched his nose.

"Don't you know I hate the smell of menhdi!" Saying that he run upstairs and Maizah made a pout.

"Why these boys hate the fragrance of mehndi?" Maizah mumbled with irritation and made her way to her room.

"Where are you going Anzala?" Gul asked when saw him going towards kitchen.

"Umm.. Chhoti Ammi... I.. Am feeling hungry so I'm going to bring food for myself!" Anzala said with a hesitation filled smile but that wasn't difficult for Rumi, Gul bano and Monina understand for whom he was bringing that food. Adnaad said about Maizah's hunger so Anzala decided to feed her

"Are you hungry!" Momina asked and Anzala smiled meekly and nodded

"Achha theek hai jao (Okay go)" Momina said to Anzala and looked at Gul before saying "Hume to jese pta hi nahi hai kon bhukha hai! Bachpan se aaj tak in dono ka yahi haal hai (As if we don't know who is hungry? They are caring for each other since childhood)"

Anzala went to Maizah's room with a plate of biryani in his hand and found her sitting sadly.

" Chudail, biryani for you" Anzala said and Maizah become happy

"Anzu.." Maizah said happily and Anzala made an unpleasant face.

"Dekh Mazi main tere liye khana laya hu magar Iska matlab ye nhi hai ki main mehndi ki is badboo ko bardash krunga. Apna hatho ko peechhe rakhna mujhse" Anzala said while showing his pointing finger and Maizah made a pout.

(See Mazi, I have drink good for you but it doesn't mean that I will tolerate this smell of your mehndi keep your hands away from me)

"Fine" Maizah said and he started feeding her every single bite while making unpleasant faces as if he was going to vomit at very next moment, but Maizah was smiling continuously.

"Anzala" Maizah said in whispered when she was full.

"Hmm" He replied and she beckon him with eyes.

"What" he asked with clenched nose while leaning his ear near her lips.

"Thank you" Saying that in whispered Maizah she slowly touched her finger in his ear.

"Mazziiiiiiiiiii" Anzala yelled as if she applied acid on his skin and run out from the room while cleaning his ear with his hand and Maizah Was laughing like mads.

Many people were gathered in Rizwi Mansion, the environment was full of commotion. Anzala and Maizah both were happy as that was their official engagement but they weren't showing their happiness as they were showing that they were not happy by that marriage but accepting that because of their family.

"Anzala, Maizah, beta today we are going to announce your engagement are you both agree... I'm asking last time." Gul asked to both of them and they looked at each other

"Gul what's the point of asking this now! We all know what they both have done... There isn't any other way except this marriage so stop asking this question" Rashid said the first part and remaining was said by his wife

''I know what you both are saying, but still I want to know their decision after all this is there life" Gul bano said and Anzala looked at Maizah.

"Anzala, Maizah... Tell me" Gul said and Anzala open his mouth.

"As we both are saying since long time. We weren't interested in this marriage but if you all want us to tie in this relationship then we will respect your decision" Anzala said without looking at anyone, his gaze was fixed on floor and Maizah nodded in agreement.

"Fine, but I'm sure they will be happy with each other" Momina said and everyone nodded.

And suddenly the storm entered in the Rizwi Mansion holding a big smile on his face.

"Arham yaar I was waiting for you since long time and you are coming now!" Anzala said very loudly when witnessed Arham entering in and he took step towards Anzala where Maizah and elders were also standing with him.

"Bro we need you to arrange the chairs" Anzala mocked and Arham also laughed.

"Assalamualaikum uncle and aunties" Arham greeted Rashid, Momina and Gul with a smile and they all greeted him back with the same warmth in thier voice.

"You enjoy the function I'm going to check the arrangements" Rashid said to Arham while taking a step ahead but.

"Uncle... I have to talk to you" Arham said and Rashid nodded

"Beta if its not important then we will talk later, you know na, tomorrow is Rumi's marriage and I have to do everything by my ownself because my only son is good for nothing" While saying the last part Rashid looked at Anzala with disappointment.

"Uncle its very important... I have to talk to you as well as Dada abbu too" Arham said and Rashid nodded while going in a room with Rashid where Abdul Gafoor also join them.

Everyone become busy in their works Gul and Momina were talking to guests and Aasif along with Adnaan and Afnaan were busy in checking all the arrangements regarding dinner and beverages.

"Anzu How I'm looking?" Maizah asked with a smile, she was looking beautiful in green and yellow Anarkali suit, she was wearing big earrings with a small mang tika, over all she was looking beautiful.

"Meri pasand ki dress pehenti to main batata.." Saying that Anzala made his way to other side of big hall. But Maizah felt sad because she won't wear that red and black dress which Anzala liked for her.

( I would like to answer you if you were the dress which I have chosen for you)

"I'm sorry Anzala I can't refuse to wear the dress which Nani has send for me but I'll wear that red and black l dress in reception." Maizah said going after him and Anzala halfheartly.

The function was going on smoothly elder were busy in blessing Rumi and praising her beauty but her cousins and youngsters were busy in teasing her with the name of Naail, which was enough to made her blush. Almost half an hour was passed but Arham was still in in the room Rashid and Abdul Gafoor no one knows what three of them were talking about.

"Aasif.... Gul, Momina.. come here" That was a call from Rashid, that was impossible for everyone to leave the guests alone in the hall, after all they were host of that function. But still they leave the responsibility of guests on Anzala, Maizah, Afnaan and Adnaan and went to that room where Arham was present with Abdul Gafoor

"What are they discussing?" Anzala asked to Maizah and she shrugged.

"Must be something related to menu and decorations... They all are just doing this since three months" Maizah said carelessly and Adnaan nodded.

"Maizah aapi today is your engagement but I'm not feeling any happiness as I felt for Rumi aapi!" Afnaan said and Maizah looked at Anzala

"Because you were excited to meet Naail bhai, as well as you wanted to know him, wanted to see his home but our case is different.... You know me inside out there isn't anything new about me so there isn't any happiness and excitement. " Anzala state and Afnaan shrugged while saying

" Maybe.. "

After some more fifteen minutes the family meeting was over and everyone was back to the function with their pale Faces, Anzala smiled looking at Maizah who was busy in talking to some guests.

"It's an emergency I have to go" Saying that to Abdul Gafoor Arham took his leave in hurry after removing his mobile from His ear and made his way to the exit.

The function was going on smoothly and clock was continously pushing its hands to indicate the unstoppable flow of time.

Soon the function come to near its end but Anzala and Maizah both were waiting for the announcement of their engagement, Rizwi family didn't informed anyone about the plan of that engagement, except Rushda the only daughter of Abdul Gafoor, they wanted to announce that engagement as a surprise. After some more minutes guests started to took their leave but the announcement was undone by Rizwi Family

Anzala, Maizah, Adnaan, Rumi and Afnaan were surprised due to that. "Ammi what about the announcement of Anzala and Maizah's engagement?" Rumi asked in whispered to her mother

"There isn't any engagement taking place" Momina replied with down face.

That was midnight all the guest who were staying in Rizwi Mansion, were sleeping peacefully but there was a Strom taking place in Abdul Gafoor's bedroom. Maizah And Anzala were summoned to his room where Aasif, Gul, Rashid and Momina were present with Abdul Gafoor.

"Maizah... Anzala.." Abdul Gafoor open his arms to summon both of them and they happily hugged their grandfather while saying "Dada abbu"

"Arham clear everything in front of us... We understand they you haven't done anything wrong in Goa... My children are innocent..." Abdul Gafoor said while caressing the back of both of them, making them happy. Gul was crying by watching that scene

"How do you get to know this?" Anzala asked while breathing with relief and break the hug. And their family informed everything.

Actually, Arham didn't had idea about the deepness of matter, he was thinking that Rizwi family was angry with Maizah and Anzala and they will be fine one day, but after witnessing Rashid's behaviour with Anzala he realised that unwillingly he snatched the love of family from both of them.

He stay awake whole night and collect all the pics of goa tour which were related to Anzala and Maizah, and those pics were showing the reality behind the pics which were seen by Rizwi family.

"Are you all believing now that we both are innocent?" Maizah asked to Momina and Rashid and they both slowly moved their head in agreement. Gul embraced Maizah and cried more.

"Everyone was blaming my daughter but thankfully we got to know the reality" Gul said looking at Momina because Maizah was always on her target after that incident

"We didn't believe on our children but on those pictures and force them to get married'' Aasif said and everyone nodded with down faces.

" They both were saying that they don't want to do this marriage but we forced them..." Gul mumbles with disappointment and kissed Maizah's forehead

"Forgive me beta... Please forgive me" Aasif said to Maizah and Anzala and they both smiled while hugging him with tearfilled eyes.

"Maizah... Anzala" Abdul Gafoor's voice capture their attention and they both looked at their grandfather

"Yeah Dada abbu" they said in unison.

"Forgive me my children" joining his wrinkled field shivering hands in front of his grandchildren Abdul Gafoor said in his tormented voice

"Dada abbu what are you saying... You are our eldest... Why are you joining your hands?" Anzala and Maizah said one by one with satisfaction

"We forced to get married, we didn't believe on you... I'm sorry....but thankfully you both are saved at correct time,all thanks to Arham" Abdul Gafoor said with a smile and they both looked at him with confusion on the words 'Saved'

"What do you mean dada abbu?" Maizah asked meekly.

"Since beginning you both are saying the same thing that you aren't interested in this marriage, but still you're respecting our forced decision" Rashid said with sorrowful voice.

"But now you both don't have to continue this marriage. Anzala... give divorce to Maizah... You both are free to live your life with happiness. We all misunderstood your friendship." Abdul Gafoor said and Maizah's heart skipped a beat as so Anzala's.

"They both always says that they are just friends and don't want to continue this marriage but we never listened to them" Aasif rejoin the conversation and everyone nodded in agreement

"Maizah... Anzala... You both are free from this bond... Forget about this marriage... Think that you were in a nightmare... We are sorry beta." Momina said with a sad smile. Anzala and Maizah both were standing like statues without moving a single inch. Their gazes were fixed on each other.

"Maizah... Anzala you both are not interested in this marriage... Right?" Aasif asked one more time.

"Aasif even few hours ago they both said the same thing... They aren't interested in this marriage" Rashid said sadly and Aasif nodded.

"Tomorrow is Rumi's marriage, we all will be busy in that, but after her reception do arrangements of their divorce, if we have made a mistake then we should mend that too" Abdul Gafoor said and everyone nodded except Maizah and Anzala.

They both looked at everyone and made their way to their rooms without looking at anyone.

Closing the door both Anzala and Maizah were standing leaning their backs to the door of their respective rooms, soon their legs refused to held their weight and they almost feel down on the floor.

"I can't live without my Mazi, but I can't admit that I love her... Everyone will again consider us to be involved with each other." Anzala mumbled while closing his eyes and resting his back with the door on the other side Maizah was crying silently thinking about the separation.
