THIRD PERSON'S POV:

"Maizah don't you think Anzala is becoming more flirtatious since last month!" Muskan asked while looking towards Anzala who was sitting with Mansha one of his classmate and talking to her in his cheesy way. Maizah passed an averted smile and felt a pang in her heart as she thought Muskan was getting jealous because of Anzala's flirting. But the poor girl didn't know that Muskan wasn't jealous but she was concerned about Anzala.

"He is like this since teenage" Maizah rolled her eyes and looked at Anzala, her heart was clenching due to Anzala's flirting. Being a wife it was obvious for her to feel jealous

"Anzala if you are forgetting then let me remind you that you have to complete your assessment, you won't get time at home." Maizah said very loudly, that was the only way for her to stop Anzala to talk and Flurt with Mansha

"Go Anzala your mother is ordering you, and you are a good baby so obey her" Mansha said to Anzala while patting his cheek, she did that just to make Anzala angry on Maizah and she Got success in her mission 

''For your kind information Mansha I don't obey anyone, I always do whatever I want... So watch your words before saying anything" Anzala said with full anger while pushing Mansha's hand which was still on his cheek.

"And Mazi, you don't have to instruct me what I have to do and what not! I know what I have to do" Anzala said to her with anger as his ego was hurted by the sentence of Mansha 

"I am not instructing you just trying to make you remember that Rumi aapi will go with you for shopping for her Marriage. But Such an ungrateful man you are.... " Maizah said with anger and suddenly Anzala remember that he already forgot about that shopping plan. But his ego was much bigger than his self declaration so he keep holding the same egoistic face. Mansha smirked when Anzala insulted Maizah in front of whole class.

"Anzala don't spoil your mood, your handsome face doesn't look good with this expression" Mansha said with a flirting smile as she was a clever fox who noticed that Maizah doesn't like Anzala to talk with any other girl except Muskan and Maizah herself.

"Yaar my mood is already....'' Anzala was saying that to Mansha but Maizah was getting angry

''Go to hell, do flirting in the same way, it's not my matter" she mumbled but only she know that was actually her matter

A big matter, but still she decided to ignore him, because she was trying to admit that neither Anzala like her nor he won't ever accept her as his wife.

She decided to not travel on the path which doesn't have any destination.

After college they both went to home but Maizah and Anzala didn't talk to each other after that argument.

Not even a single word was exchanged between them.

'What she is thinking about herself, she can't give me order in front of everyone, if I talk to her freely as a cousin and best friend it doesn't mean that she will dance on my head.' Anzala said to himself when they both were stepping in the home. He slightly glared at her and Maizah noticed that.

'Go to hell, I was giving him more attention than he deserves. But still maybe Muskan has a better fate than me that's why he never said anything rude to her, unlike me' Maizah said about Anzala in her thoughts when they both moved towards the hall of their big mansion

"Rumi aapi are you ready for shopping?" Anzala asked and Rumi shook her head.

"No, we are not going for shopping" Anzala was shocked and Maizah was also surprised because Rumi refused to go for shopping

"Why so? I also have to go for shopping" Maizah asked but said the last part like a child

"Chhoti Ammi is going kanpur so I have to help her in packing" Rumi informed and Maizah was surprised.

"Kanpur! But Ammi haven't informed me about this" Maizah said with confusion and Anzala was silently listening everything

Maizah's Maternal grandparents' home means... Gul Bano's maternal home was situated in Kanpur, where she don't go usually

"Your mama (maternal uncle) has met with an accident while returning from his work, his situation is very critical so chhoti Ammi is going there" Rumi informed Maizah and in no time she got tears in her eyes .

"What!!" she exclaimed in disbelief before taking steps towards the bedroom of her parents.

Anzala was sorry to hear that but his sorrow was increased when he noticed Maizah's eyes which were filled with tears.

Maizah stepped in the room and found her mother talking to someone on call.

"Ammi what happened?" she asked suddenly but gul informed her that then her brother was out of danger.

"Thanks to Allah" Maizah and Momina both mumbled in unison.

"Maizah help me in packing" Gul ordered and she nodded like an obedient daughter, before placing her bag on floor.

"Ammi I also wanna go with you" Maizah said and Gul looked at her but then shook her head.

"Bhai is out of danger, I'll come back in some two or three days, you stay here" Gul said and Maizah nodded with a downhearted look. At the same time Anzala entered the room to ask Gul about her brother's health but he completely ignored Maizah which hurted her to the deepest core of her heart.

"Ammi I too wanna come with you, it's been many years since I went to Nani's home." Maizah demanded again, she wanted some change so that she could forget the feeling which was developing inside her heart towards Anzala.

"Maizah I'm not going for any kind of celebration, I'm going to share their problems." Gul scolded her

"Ammi please naa.. Please"

"You have college" Gul again scolded Maizah but she was at the peak of her stubbornness at that time.

"Ammi I'll manage my studies, I'll take all the notes from An.z...." She stopped in between her sentence and looked at Anzala

"I'll take the notes from Muskan and Arham" Maizah said and Gul sighed when she noticed the requesting eyes of her only daughter.

"Okay... Call your abbu and tell him that you are also going with us." Maizah nodded and moved towards the door of room but by mistake she come into collision with Anzala, their shoulders hit with each other and gazes come in the contact Unknowingly Anzala smiled at her just in a friendly manner to console her sorrow regarding her uncle's health but Maizah averted her eyes in order to ignore the different rhythm of heartbeat which she felt due to the intense gaze of Anzala.

After some hours Maizah and Gul Bano along with Aasif reached Kanpur. The whole journey was completely silent, Aasif was focusing on the road, Gul was praying for her brother and Maizah was fighting with herself to forget about the new feelings inside her.

But that feeling was very strong as well as very strange too

"Maizah" the silence of the car was broken by Gul, when they were a few kilometres away from her maternal home

"Yeah Ammi" Maizah replied in hushed tone while sitting straight

"Don't tell anyone about your marriage with Anzala" Gul instructed and Aasif looked at her with disbelieve

"Why?" That was the first and only question which popped out from Aasif's mouth.

"We haven't even informed your sister about this, how can we say all these things to my family" Gul shared

"But I was thinking that before announcing their engagement in Rumi's marriage we would inform your family and my sister that we are thinking about their alliance." Aasif stated and Gul shook her head.

"After watching today's behaviour of Anzala towards Maizah I am sure that he isn't interested in this marriage so I'm not going to support the decision of Abbu ji regarding this marriage." Gul state and Maizah was shocked but maintained an unaffected face.

" What do you mean Gul?" Aasif asked in surprised way

"I'm very clear with my opinion, if Anzala is not happy with this marriage then it will be a burden on both of them for their whole life." Gul stated and Maizah felt pang in her heart

"Marriage should be a happiness not a burden, if they both are not ready to continue this relationship further then don't make their life difficult by burdening them with the weight of an unwanted relationship for their whole life" Gul state and Aasif was silent because he noticed Care and respect In Anzala's eyes towards Maizah.

"We will discuss this after going back home. I think we should give some time to... " Aasif was cut off in between by Gul.

"By giving more time we will make this problem bigger." Gul said and Aasif sighed.

"Gul we will discuss everything after returning home. For once I wanna talk to Anzala, if he does not agree then I agree with your decision but if he is interested in this relationship then forget about divorce" Aasif said to Gul very clearly and Maizah was done by then.

"You both are taking decisions of my life but where am I in this whole matter? Am I a puppet that you all told me to sign those papers on the name of nikah nama (marriage certificate) and I did so and then in future you will ask me to sign divorce papers and I'll do so... '' Maizah out her anger and frustration because somewhere she was not wanting to go away from Anzala but at the same time some part of her was not wanting to come in between Muskan and Anzala

Aasif and Gul Bano both were shocked to listen that, Gul turned her head to saw Maizah who was sitting on back seat and Aasif also glanced at her through mirror

"Is my life a game for you?" Maizah asked with frustration and Aasif looked at Gul

"What's your decision? Do you want this marriage or not?" Gul asked in almost hushed tone and Maizah was silent

'Do I want Anzala in my life, that too for my whole life?' she asked to herself

'But he is a flirting king, he doesn't give me attention' she replied but her gaze travelled to her hand and she remembered how Anzala took her care when her hand was burnt.

'But he cares about me' She said to herself, then she remembered how he bursted on her but he was talking softly with Muakan

"Maizah... I'm asking something... Do you want this marriage or not?" Gul asked and Maizah looked at her mother again

'Anzala loves Muskan, so where is my place in his life?' Maizah questioned herself.

"Gul We have arrived" Aasif told her when their car enters in through the big iron gate, which leads to the old but well maintained Haveli

"Maizah don't tell anyone about you and Anzala, I don't want anyone to think about you two together." Gul orders and Maizah nodded

"Gul, you also don't think about this matter right now. We will discuss this after going back home. For now forget about Anzala and their marriage, just focus on your brother." Aasif instructed and Gul nodded but somehow those few words of Aasif Shake Maizah's heart with fear

Forget about Anzala and their marriage.
