"Collection of Memories" captures the diverse palette of life—sweet moments that bring joy, tangy encounters that add excitement, and salty experiences that bring depth. Yet, even the most delightful blend can be overshadowed by a hint of bitterness, lingering longer than any other taste. What unfolds when bitterness seeps into a relationship, erasing the sweetness and eclipsing every other emotion? In this tale, love and hate are not just opposites but entwined forces battling for control. When both are added to the fragile balance of a relationship, which will prevail, and what memories will be left standing? Explore a journey where passion and resentment collide, revealing the raw essence of human connection. Will love’s warmth triumph, or will hate’s shadow cast over everything, leaving only a lingering aftertaste?
After two years
Change is the only constant.
Time is the only purgatory.
And life...
What's life?
Life is an exam, but you do not know its syllabus. It could give you problems from any field with any difficulty level.
One shouldn't blame the syllabus for the failure or bad performance, sometimes we know the correct answer but failed to understand the question at right time.
Something similar happened with Sara and Adnaan. They know their feelings, they know the importance of one another in life but they were unable to conduct their right feelings at the right times. When they should show their love and trust, they showed up their ego.
When Adnaan gave her divorce papers, she could have expressed what she already wanted, but no. She had chosen to keep her silence and self-respect.
Though it was foolishness which she named self-respect.
On the other side, when Sara was demanding for trust, he could have think wisely and calmly before kicking out his wife, but no. He gave priority to his false male ego.
However, the past is the past. No one can alter it, but Adnaan and Sara were carrying the weight of their past which was making their present difficult.

Rizwi Mansion was full of euphoria, fairy lights were glowing the plain walls of that old building. Fresh well bloomed flowers were spreading their fragrance in the air. Chants of Wedding bells were bringing happiness in Afnaan's life. Everyone was happy other than Sara and Adnaan.
They both were happy for Afnaan but their hearts were offended with pleasure.
Sara never asked for divorce, and Adnaan never bring up that matter again. Eventually, both wanted the same but never dared to share their feelings. After that day Sara and Adnaan never talk to each other.
Whenever they come across, they usually ignore each other.
"Fayra, no more running" Sara scolded her only daughter while changing her clothes and making a small ponytail of her curly hair. "Behave like a good girl. Okay?" Sara kissed her plump cheeks.
No one could say After seeing her balloon-like cheeks and roly-poly figure, that Fayra was a premature baby.
"Mummy main to theel lahi thi, woh to Danish Bhai ne ish cleam gila di" In her lisping way Fayra put all the blame on Poor Danish who was only trying to save Fayra to fall down, but as a result he throw the chocolate ice cream on her white frock.
(Mummy I was only playing, but Danish bhai thlow the ish cleam on me)
"Mujhe acchi tarah pata hai tum kese theelti ho... Ab jahan main bithaungi Chup chaap waha beth jana warna ek thappad marungi" after scolding her innocent daughter by using her lisping word, Sara glared at her with fake anger. But he was Adnaan's daughter who doesn't know how to feel scared.
(I know very well how do you play, now I don't want any naughtiness. I'll slap you if you'll play now)
"Aap mujhe daat lahi hain? Main aap shey baat hi nahi kalungi... Ja lahi hu main papa paash" huffing angrily Fayra jumped off the bed before running out from the room.
(You're ishcolding me, I'm going to papa, I won't talk to you)
"Aayi badi kahi se papa ki chamchi" Rolling her eyes Sara placed the comb on the dressing table and stepped out from the room.
(Huh... Papa's supporter)
It was the Reception ceremony of Afnaan, decorations and lighting were making the environment cheerful, and the guests were enjoying the delicious food along with hot and spicy gossips.
"Have you noticed Adnaan and his wife? They're not talking to one another. I think there is something wrong between them" Sara passed by a group of ladies who were discussing her only.
"Hmm... They both didn't even come close to each other at the time of the photoshoot" Sara sighed and took steps further.
"Where were you, Sara? I was looking for you" Rushda asked. She was also present there to attend Afnaan's marriage.
"I was changing Fayra's clothes. You know na, this girl can't sit at a place." Sara faked a smile and Rushda looked at Adnaan, he was sitting at a good distance, Fayra was sitting on his lap.
"Kya haal bana liya hai tumne apna?" Rushda asked sadly after touching Sara's face. She was wearing a red and green frock suit which was very gorgeous, but in her simplest look unlike Maizah and Rumi; Sara was she was looking pale without any kind of makeup except pink lipstick. There was a different glow on everyone's faces which was not present at Sara's face.
(what have you done with yourself?)
Maybe happiness and satisfaction reflect in the glow of faces.
"I'm fine mummy" Sara smiled and Rushda Glare at her then at Adnaan who was unaware of the situation.
"Sara Abhi tumhari umar hi kya hai? Tum sirf 26 ki ho, kyu apni zindagi aur jawani barbaad kar rahi ho?"
( You're just 26, why are you wasting your life and youth in this way?)
"Mummy main theek to hu, aap kyu preshan ho rahi hain?" Sara smiled but she also knows her facial expressions weren't supporting her.
(Mummy I'm fine, why are you making it an issue?)
"Sara tumhe Adnaan ke sath rehna hai to sab sort out kro aur agar use maaf nahi kar sakti to talaq lo aur chalo mere sath, main tumhari dusri shadi karwa dungi. Kab tak ek ese rishte ke naam par bethi rahogi jiska wajud ek sawaliya nishan hai" Sara's heart skipped a beat. She never thought of second marriage. Giving Adnaan's place to someone else was not less than a horrible dream for her. Regardless of all the disputes between them, she loves him.
(Sara if you wanna live as Adnaan's wife then sort out all the disputes, and if you can't forgive him then take divorce and let's go with me. I'll re-marry you. For how long you'll be tied in a relationship which is a question in itself?)
"Mummy kya key rahi hain aap? Fayra ka kya hoga? Adnaan use kitna pyaar karta hai, aapko lagta hai koi aur use itna pyaar karega?" Sara was highly disappointed in her mother.
(Mummy what are you saying? What about Fayra? Adnaan loves her a lot, do you think anyone else could love her in the same way?)
"And what about you, Sara? What about your life? Leave Fayra with Adnaan and come with me." Sara looked at Fayra who was laughing in Adnaan's lap, and Adnaan was kissing her head.
"I can't live without Fayra, and I won't go back to that home where your son lives" Saying that Sara walked to another side.
Rushda was in deep grief, every girl including Rumi and Maizah were wearing floral jewellery, but not Sara.
She had already forgotten to groom herself.

Aasif and Gul Bano were standing with few relatives of Afnaan's in-laws. They were talking on many random topics when Sara arrived there and informed Gul about some arrangements. "Who is she?" One of the ladies ask about Sara, it was the most difficult question for Gul Bano because according to all, Sara was not ready to be called as Adnaan's wife but reality was different.
"She is my niece" Aasif smiled with this reply and the lady looked at her elder sister who was the bride's Auntie.
"Mummy~" Fayra came to Sara while running and fell just a step away from Sara.
"Fayra why do you fell down every next minute?" Sara mumbled. Fayra was about to cry when Aasif lift her in his arms.
"You're my strong girl. Don't cry beta" Gul Bano and Aasif started to console Fayra. After seeing her condition Adnaan couldn't control himself to come there.
"I guess you live here only! Whenever I've visited here I found you here. Where is your home?" The lady asked with furrowed brows. The bride's Auntie was concern for her niece that she would have to tolerate one more member in the family who is not a family member in real. Sara was answerless for a moment, but before she, Gul or Aasif could reply a cold voice rang.
"Meri biwi hai to isi ghar me rahegi na." Sara turned to look at the owner of that voice. He was Adnaan. Without looking at Sara he opened his arms for Fayra who jumped in his arms. Sara was stunned by Adnaan's reply.
(She is my wife, so it's obvious for her to live here only)
"Papa mele toot lag gayi" Fayra showed a tiny scratch on her palm to her father and he kissed that spot.
(Papa it's hurting)
"Ab theek ho gya?" He asked and Fayra nodded like that small kiss did a magic.
(It's fine now?)
Though his kisses had some magic that Sara also admired secretly.
"Abbu main Fayra ko bahar lenkar jaa Raha hu, yaha bohot bheed hai, ye preshan ho rhi hai" indirectly informing Sara, Adnaan took his daughter for a long drive.
(Abbu, I am taking Fayra out, there is a lot of crowds here, she is getting disturbed.)
"What were you saying? Why she lives in this home?" Gul Bano asked with a fake smile and the lady passed a hesitant smile. "Sara is my daughter-in-law too, my elder son's wife, so it's her right to live here. This is her home." Aasif replied arrogantly. He and Gul both were happy after listening to Adnaan calling Sara as his wife.
The ladies took their leave after that awkward situation, but they were also not at complete fault. No one of the unknown people could imagine Adnaan as Sara's husband due to their indifferent behaviour.

Sitting on the Bonnet of the car she was enjoying chocolate and Adnaan was standing a few steps away from the car. Holding the railing of the bridge with left hand, he was lifting a cigarette in another hand. His heart and soul was craving to get his wife in his arms. It's been more than two years when he hugged Sara. Today she was looking simple but for Adnaan's eyes, she was the most adorable and pretty lady of that function. All the time he was watching Sara with discreet sight.
Puffing the cigarette Adnaan close his eyes for a second. Only one second was enough to recollect a million memories of His and Sara's togetherness.
"Papa" he turned to saw Fayra.
"Yeah, baby?" Fayra open her arms to go to Adnaan's arms.
"Neend aa rahi hai?'' Adnaan asked while lifting Fayra, she rest her head with his shoulder and nodded while yawning.
(Feeling sleepy?)
Adnaan kissed her cheek and hopped in the car. " Papa" she mumbled with shut eyes.
"Hmm"
"Tow'' Adnaan smiled at the innocent demand of his daughter. Tow means wow. Once Sara pointed out towards a beautiful flower to hush a crying Fayra and said Wow. Since that day Fayra didn't recognise them as flower but Tow.
" Do you like Tow?" Adnaan asked in a whisper and Fayra nodded in a sleeping state. "Like the mother liken the daughter" Adnaan muttered remembering about Sara. How she was crazy for floral bracelets. Adnaan drove back to home at the speed of a turtle as Fayra was sleeping in his arm. With one hand he was handling Fayra and with another hand, he was managing with gear and staring wheel.
After the small yet difficult journey, Adnaan reaches the Rizwi mansion. The function was still going on. But Sara was not present. Feeling no need to worry about this Adnaan took steps towards the stairs. "Where were you, Adnaan? We're the hosts. It's our responsibility to attend guests but you're nowhere" Anzala scolded him. Adnaan was supposed to sleep but After the kind words of Anzala, he changed his mind. Taking steps towards Sara's room Adnaan open the door with the thought that the room would be empty but Sara was already present there. She was about to gulp a white pill with water. For a moment Adnaan wanted to ask her why she was taking medicine but decided not to. Going to bed he gently laid down Fayra and put a pillow on her empty side. Covering her with a blanket he kissed her cheeks and stepped out from the room. Sara looked at her hands, she was still holding the pill and a glass of water. Blinking away her tears she consumes that pill and locks the door.
It hurts hard when an important person in our life ignore us.
But this path was chosen by Sara, only.
