After feeding the hungry mosquitoes they both were sleeping peacefully in each other's arms. But buzzing sound of one more mosquito was disturbing Sara's early morning slumber. Even after trying to ignore that buzzing she was unable to sleep. With an annoying feeling she open her eyes and a handsome face was just in front of her. Her heart skipped a beat due to their closeness but she gulped and slowly shift Adnaan's hand away from herself. She felt nervous and say at the same time, but holding her madly beating heart she made her way out from he room, to found her mother in kitchen.

"What are you doing mummy?" She asked while yawning and scratching her scalp to make her hair more messy, but her mother smiled on her act.

"I'm preparing for breakfast" Lightly pulling Sara's cheek her mother said lovingly and Sara hugged her like she was a small girl, her eyes were half close and she wanted to sleep more.

"My sleepy head" Her mother said lovingly and Sara break the hug.

"Go and freshen up. And wake up Adnaan too" Sara nodded before going towards bathroom and her mother smiled with a feeling of satisfaction that her daughter is living a happy life.

On the other hand Adnaan's slumber was much stronger to make the mosquitoes won. All their songs were unable to woke him up. Sara also tried to woke him up but couldn't.

"Adnaan.. Wake up" Sara again said louder than normal but he didn't open her eyes.

"Soo rahe ho ya Mar gye?" Sara asked with irritation because she was hungry and her mother was waiting for Adnaan to make breakfast.

(Are you sleeping or passed away?)

"Mara to bilkul nhi hu, aur tu sone bhi nhi de rahi" He mumbled before hiding his face in pillow and Sara groaned.

(Neither I'm dead nor you're letting me sleep)

"Adnaan uth jao warna..." She huffed looking here there and Adnaan open his one eye to saw her angery face

(Adnaan wake up otherwise...)

"Warna kya??" Adnaan smirk to irritate her.

(Otherwise what?)

No matter whatever they both feel about one another but they always love to make one another irritate and jealous.

"Warna main ye pani tumhare upar daal dungi" She smirked while picking the bottle from night stand, Adnaan jerk his head and again close his eyes

(otherwise ill put this water on you)

"Get lost from here and lemme sleep" mumbling that she again close his eyes, but poor Sara was standing like a fool.

'Meri dhamki ki koi value hi nhi hai?' she felt defeated which wasn't acceptable for the strong girl so she smirked and

(There isn't any value of my threats)

"Adnaan wake up, otherwise you'll take bed bath..." She said making him groan

"Agar Aesa kuch kra na.. Bata raha hu tera bohot bura haal karunga" He threatened her and again hide his face in pillow.

(I'll do very bad with you if you will so anything like this)

Sara smirked and soon Adnaan felt coldness of water on his shirtless frame.

"Pagal hai kyaaaa" Adnaan yelled while sitting on the bed. Sara laughed watching him annoyed.

(Are you mad)

"Tu ruk" Saying that Adnaan stepped out from the to catch Sara but she was fast to run outside the room, Adnaan also ran out from room while wearing his T-shirt and Sara laughed while running towards kitchen

"Jangli billi... Tu ruk, tujhe aaj zinda nhi chhodonga.." Adnaan also ran after her and Sara made herself stand behind her mother like a small girl who was hiding herself behind her mother

(Wild cat.. I'll kill you today)

"Mummy is Bandar so bachao mujhe"

(Mummy save me from this monkey..)

"Areee.. Ye ghar ko zoo kyu Bana diya subah subah?" Nabeel came out from his room after listening the voice of Adnaan and Sara who were literally chasing each other like kids.

(why you have converted home into zoo)

"Bhaaiiiiiii" Sara ran to hide herself behind her Nabeel.

"Nabeel beech se hat jaa.. Aaj main ise chhodunga nahi" Grabbing a water bottle Adnaan said and Sara Hold her brother's shirt tightly.

(Nabeel stay away from our matter, I won't leave her)

"Bhai.. Save me" Sara muttered and he nodded.

"Adnaan how can you even think that you can throw water on Sara in my presence" Sara felt protected in presence of her brother, she peeped out from Nabeel's side and Adnaan huffed, she showed her toothy grin just to annoy him but poor girl didn't knew that her brother was going to betray her soon. Nabeel winked at Adnaan while gesturing him that he was going to move from his place and with the count of three only in lipsing... Sara's Shield was removed, and Adnaan theow water on her.

Sara gasped, and blinked to understand what suddenly happened with her. Her jaw was hanging, ready to touch the floor.

Adnaan and Nabeel burst into laughter and gave high five to each other but Sara fake crying while calling her mother.

"Mummyyyyyyy..... Mummyyyyyyy.. See your son is betraying your daughter"

"Stop it three if you.. It seems you're small kids." Three of them got scolding from Sara's mother but Sara glare Adnaan as so he did.

"Tumhe to main dekh lungi" glaring Adnaan Sara went to her room but Adnaan laughed in her behaviour.

(You've to pay for this)

"Abhi dekh le Jangli Billi.. Main tujhe darta hu kya?" He yelled and Sara came out from her room.

(As if I'm afraid of you, wild cat )

"Tum to khud ek khukhaar Jangli Jaanwar ho, Tim kyu mujh se daroge?"

(You're a wild animal in yourself. Why would you be afraid of me?)

"Ab to sudhar jao dono.. Shadi ke baad bhi aese kon ladta hai?" Sara and Adnaan both got scolding from The middle aged lady

(Stop it both of you, who argue like this even after marriage?)

"Anzala bhai and Maizah aapi" Adnaan muttered and Sara giggled.

"At least you both stop doing this." Nabeel advised both of them as if they needed.

Somehow the argument went to its end and four of them gathered for breakfast, Sara and Adnaan were sitting next to each other.

"Phuppo Jaan kuch khilaiye ji.. Aapka damad hu main" Adnaan said with a charming grin and Sara rolled her eyes but show a fake smile.

(Phuppo Jaan serve me something, I'm your son-in-law)

"Jese tum unki beti ko treat krte ho na, jute chappal hi khaoge." Saying that Sara picked the plate of boiled eggs for herself.

(You deserve kicks and slaps for how you treats her daughter)

"Phuppo Jaan dekh rahi hain Aap? Zaban to keechi se bhi teez hai Iski.." Adnaan show his anger but Sara rolled her eyes.

(Aunty are you seeing? How sharp tongue she has!)

"Meri sirf Zaban nahi aakhe bhi teez hain,.. Saamne itni cheeze rakhi hui hain khud uthai aur khaa lo.. Damad ban kar apni value kyu increase kar rahe ho?" Sara glare him and he looked towards his aunty like he was an innocent boy and complaining about his disrespect.

(Not only my tongue but my sight is also sharp. Even its better for you to use your eyes, there are so many things on tablets pick whatever you wanna eat... But no.. You've to gain attention as a son-in-law)

"Sara... Stop it and serve breakfast for Adnaan" Poor girl got scolding from her mother and she glare Adnaan who show his grin

"Kya loge?" Sara asked rudely.

(What will you like to have?)

"Jo bhi tum de do... Zeher ke alawa" He replied with a fake smile.

(Anything you like to give.. Except poison)

"Jo main dungi na wo bardash nhi kar Paoge" picking the jar of green chilli pickle Sara said arrogantly, Adnaan smirked on that but Sara's mother glare her.

(You won't be able to tolerate what I'll serve you)

"Lets see, will I be able to tolerate or not?" Adnaan smirk as he knows Sara couldn't serve her anything wrong in front of her mother.

"Sure" She smirked and serve him toast with butter, Adnaan was confused about her too good behavior, he took very first bite and....

"Aaaa..." He somehow suppressed his scream.

Scream, due to squashing pain in is foot, because Sara's sharp heel attacked him under the table.

"What happened?" Being a kind and caring wife, Sara was the first to ask that question while passing a glass of juice to him.

"Tum theek to ho na?" Sara asked placing her hand on his shoulder, Nabeel and her mother was surprised to saw Adnaan and his reaction.

(Are you fine?)

"Teri meherbani hai" Adnaan slightly glare Sara and she smirked but blinked innocently.

(Yeah, due to all your grace)

"Thoda aur du?" Lifting the plate of toast Sara asked happily and Adnaan grit his teeth.

(Want more)

"No thanks" He glare her slightly but Sara smirked like a winner.

"Sara aur do Adnaan ko.." Sara looked towards her mother while grinning

(Sara give more to Adnaan.)

"Now how can you refuse when your dear phuppo Jaan is saying to take some more" Sara smiled and slipped a toast in his plate but no one knew what was going on under the table.

'Aaj maar hi daalegi kya' Adnaan's heart cried in pain but how could the rough and tough guy accept that his wife was actually torturing him in front of others.

(Will you kill me today?)

"Thoda aur lo na, please " Sara said lovingly, it seems like she was going to hug her husband with happiness and Adnaan grit his teeth because only he knew what Sara was offering him

(Take some na.. Please)

"Nahi bas itna kaafi hai, shukriya" His voice was full of fake anger, but pain was real, Sara giggled on his condition while taking a morsel happily.

((No no.. It's already enough)

"Masha allah... Kitne pyare lag rahe ho dono.. Sara beta Adnaan ka isi tarah dhyan rakhna." Sara looked towards Her mother on that order then towards Adnaan whose face lost its color.

(May God protect you from evil sight. Sara always serves Adnaan in the same way)

" Sure mummy.. I will love to.. Am I right Adnaan" Sara smirked and Adnaan smiled just to show that he was unaffected by Sara's deed.

Adnaan took leave from his office but he was working on his laptop which he didn't forget to bring with himself. Sara decided not to disturb him in his work but gave him tea and snacks in between.

"I'm so happy for you" Sara looked towards her mother after listening that statement.

"Why?"

"Adnaan loves you a lot" Sara smiled sadly on her mother's statement

"Hmm... Very much" Sara muttered and sighed. Both mother daughter spent good time with each other while talking and sharing Many experiences.

Whole day passed in the same way And after dinner Adnaan and Sara were again in their room to sleep but. ..

"What the hell" Adnaan mumbled but A small scream left from Sara's mouth when darkness covers the room due to power cut.

"Mummy" She almost shouted but held Adnaan's hand.

"What happened?" He asked in hushed tone but Sara hugged his arm tightly.

"I.. I feels scared in darkness" She muttered and Adnaan wrapped his arm around his wife while trying to find out his mobile phone to turn on the torch but unfortunately he was unable to find out the same.

"Wait I'm coming" Saying that he tried to move back but Sara held his arm more tightly.

"Don't go anywhere leaving me alone" Saying that she hugged Adnaan's arms with her all energy. Adnaan, was shocked to saw her condition he slowly caressed her back and placed his chin on her head. "Don't worry I'm not going anywhere" he whispered and at the same time room was again filled with light ; giving new life to Sara but she had tears in her eyes.

"It's okay yaar.. You can't feel scared like this" He somehow managed to sooth her and she break the hug with a nod

"You Can sleep now" Adnaan said and Sara nodded but she smiled too when she realised that Adnaan was like a shield for her, she feels save in his presence! Her heart felt peace in his presence that was an absolute pleasure for her mind at the same time Adnaan also felt tranquil when Sara was in his arms but both the idiots weren't ready to express their feelings. Adnaan knew Sara love him as she told him in drunken state but Sara doesn't know about Adnaan's feelings.

Even Adnaan himself does not knew if he love her or hate her!

Without making the situation more complex they both lay down facing towards each other, soon Sara was slept but Adnaan was busy in his mobile and electricity was gone again! Adnaan smack his forehead and made his way out from the room to took some candles.

"I think there is some major issues, otherwise power cuts are very unusual!" Nabeel, who was already lighting few candles standing in kitchen ; informed Adnaan and he hummed.

"Nabeel"

"Hmm"

"Sara itna kyu darne lagi hai? Lagta hi nahi hai ye wo hi Sara hai jo bohot bahadur thi... Tujhe yaad hai Bachpan me jab hum horror movie night plan karte the to Sirf wo hi puri movie dekhti thi, wo bhi Andhere me akele Beth kar aur ab..." Adnaan left the sentence in between and Nabeel passed a painful sighed

(Why Sara stared feeling scared? It seems she isn't that Sara who was so brave. Have you remembered, in childhood she was the only one who use to watch complete horror movie that too all alone in dark room, but now...)

"As everyone knows Sara was very close to papa.. And after his death she is completely changed, she started feeling scared of darkness and living alone, she was depressed and use to think that one day everyone will leave her alone..." Nabeel informed and Adnaan realised the reason behind Sara's question which she had asked him many times in her drunken state.

'Will you leave me alone?'

"Okay..." Adnaan said half heartedly and went back to his room with few candles, but the room was very hot. That was difficult for him to sleep in the time being Sara was also awake while wiping her sweat.

"It's very hot" She muttered in sleeping state and he hummed while fanning himself with a cardboard.

"I'm go to terrace" Adnaan said and Sara nodded "Go, I'm also coming" Saying that she stepped out of bed but stopped for a moment. "What happened now?" Adnaan asked and she felt hesitation as she had to go washroom but darkness was her biggest weakness.

"Umm... Actually.." She bite her inner cheek

"Wait for me here... I'm coming back in two minutes" She said while picking up the candle "Don't go anywhere" Saying that she stepped towards washroom and Adnaan nodded.

"Don't go anywhere" she again said while stepping in Washroom and He again nodded.

"You're there... Aren't you?" Sara asked from inside the washroom and Adnaan smack his forehead.

"No.. I'm not here.. I've already gone" He yelled from outside with irritation but he didn't know how much she felt satisfied with those irritation filled words.

After some five minutes they both were on terrace, to kill some time Sara brought A rubix cube from her room and Adnaan was getting bore walking from one corner of terrace to another. In the end he looked towards Bedsheet, which was hanging on wall to be dried. He pulled that and spread the sheet on floor and lay down placing his arm under his head.

"Sit here" Adnaan said to Sara. there wasn't any place to sit so she sat down beside him. "From whom you learn to solve rubix cube?" He asked and Sara smiled sadly "Papa" she muttered and sighed. Adnaan held her arm and she looked at him. There was a softness in his eyes as so in Sara's. Adnaan spread his arm on floor and looked towards his arm gesturing her to lay down placing her head on his arm. For a couple of minutes Sara keep looking at him, she wanted to lay down beside him but stopped himself because she remembered the closeness of Adnaan and Mansi.

"Leave my hand" Sara slowly push his hand away. "Sara" He muttered but she looked away and her eyes filled with tears, which wasn't hidden from his eyes.

"What happened now?" He asked in hushed tone and again hold her arm. "Adnaan, there isn't any relationship between us so please don't try to make one. It's only for showing in front of this world but in reality you and me both know there isn't anything between us." Saying that Sara pushed his hand away.

"I know our relationship is not normal, but we have to live together for the rest of life. We have to tolerate each other" He said and Sara's eyes drop tears. He slowly pulled her and she lay down beside him placing her head on his arm.

"Stop crying" He said but she glare him and wipe her tears. "I'm not crying for you."she said rudely, but she was not saying complete truth. .

"Then why are you crying?"

"I.. I'm missing papa" she muttered. She was missing her father as well as remembering Adnaan's Closeness with Mansi, both thoughts were making her cry.

"Look there" Adnaan Said pointing out towards the star filled sky and Sara looked up while wiping her tears.

"Are you watching moon?" He pointed towards crescent moon and she nodded in confusion.

"Isn't it representing our life?" Adnaan asked and Sara looked at him with confusion. "What do you mean?" she asked and he smiled.

"With every passing day moon grows big and at a particular stage in comes to its most loved, most beautiful and most powerful state which is called full moon, just like our life... We grow with time and become financially capable, take education and come to our peek " Adnaan stopped in between and Sara nodded again shifting her eyes to the moon.

" And after that full moon night, moon started decreasing and one night it doesn't even visible for this world" Adnaan said and Sara again, looked towards him "Just like our life... We grow up, from a child to an adult and then aged.. And then one day we left this world. Its circle of life" Adnaan said and Sara turned her side, she was facing Adnaan placing her head on his arm and he felt his heart skipping a beat.

"Theory is amazing... But moon disappears only for a night, from next day it again started growing in the sky" Sara said with disappointment but Adnaan smiled

"Yes... Moon disappears only for a night, but from next day it start growing from zero..."

"Kya kehna chahte ho?" she asked out of confusion

(what do you want to say?)

"Moon disappears once and then sky welcome back a new moon after that dark night... Just, like our life... It doesn't stop for anyone... One person left us leaving behind many beautiful memories but another person enters in our life without any memories, but with passing time we make many memories with that... Time and life doesn't stop. It's better if you will move on with time." He said and she shook her head.

" it's only easy to say, but difficult to forget an important person of your life"

"I'm not saying to forget.. I'm saying to think about those who are already present around you.. Think about your mom... Think about Nabeel.. And think about...." He stopped himself to say his name because he knew he doesn't have any right to say his own name but Sara's heart skipped a beat

"And about....." She asked

"Umm... About yourself" He added with a smiled and Sara nodded sadly.

"Look towards that start." He point out towards a start but she narrow her eyes

"which one" She asked

"That one.."

"okay... What is special in that?" she asked and Adnaan smiled "That star is bigger than others" be said something near nonsense and she gave him a weird look but he laughed.

"okay tell me which one is Pole Start and which one is morning star amount them?"He asked and Sara again huffed.

" For me all of them are starts.. I don't know which one is morning start, evening or night start.. Nor I know about pole star" she replied with irritation and Adnaan smirked as he got success in diverting her mind.

And do you know which one is Mars?" He asked and Sara glare him,

" Adnaan I'll ki you if you ask me about another star" She said with anger and close her eyes but Adnaan smiled looking towards her face, a smile came to his lips when he looked at her nose pin, which was shining like a star covered in gold.

"You know I'm an Astrophile" He said and she open her eyes "Me too" saying that she started gazing sky and a smile played on, her lips after watching stars, Adnaan was trying to a avoide glancing at her as his heart was jumping in different rhythm.

Soon two Astrophiles were busy in gazing stars, but Sara was only watching sky on the other hand Adnaan was watching her face and specially the nose pin which was shining a star in the light of candle.

Both hearts were beating for each other but they were stopping themselves to accept that feeling.

Ofcourse! Their hatred was bigger than their love.

Maybe...
