(By Bimrisha Sharma)

There was a girl named 'Rebecca'. She was a 12 year old school girl, love to make creative drawings and designs. She was born artist but she didn't realize herself as a child. She was always attracted to art, beautiful paintings, old historical monuments, crafts, mountains, rivers and beautiful landscapes. She was a dreamer, dreams with her innocent eyes and sees the world in a aesthetic way. She imagine things that are impossible in others' eyes, to be happened in this modern world but, she was very hopeful that it will happen someday in the near future. She loves to read and watch mysterious, frictional and fantasy books and series or movies.

But little did she know that the family she has borned in, doesn't match the vibes with her. She was very different from everyone. Her parents always controlled her and thinks that as a girl she needs to be controlled everytime and also, can be controlled in their own ways as they wish too. This upsets her a lot.

'Rebecca' was a free-spirited girl but, her parents always restricted her in doing things in her own way, of her own choice. Which depresses her sometimes. She was always misunderstood by her family, friends and the people surrounding her. Her parents are not able to understand and grasp her perspectives, visionaries, thoughts and didn't allow her time to be invested in artworks. But she was very hopeful that one day her family would understand her. Her life would be changed.

She was a very quiet and obedient girl. She listens to her teachers very well. She respected her teachers and obey their rules and regulations. In the class, she doesn't talk and laugh much. She doesn't express much about anything, about her and her thoughts to anyone. Sometimes she expresses her thoughts and visionaries to her mother but her mother just listens to her what she has to say but doesn't give much importance. Her mother usually tell her, "You should need to focus on your studies and pursue higher studies and become a University professor or a lecturer, you will get much respect. You will be respected by everyone in the society". This disappoints her.

People see 'Rebecca' as a very mysterious, calm and secretive person. Her classmates doesn't like her much. Some, for no reason and others, because of her wonderful skills that she have. Some of the classmates always try to underestimate and discourage her abilities. They try to dominate her in every possible ways but couldn't because 'Rebecca' was very stubborn and determination. Which makes her tough as a personality to be easy with her.

But there was a one friend 'Milly' who understands, supports, help and there for her all the time and encourages 'Rebecca' a lot.

She has seen her parents arguing and quarreling all the time with each other, for some little things. Which hurts her a lot. Which makes her fearful all the time about things that she shouldn't fear about. Even though she have 'Milly' to support her, but she was not able to share much about her thoughts and sadness with 'Milly'. She remained silent and wear a fake smile on her face because she doesn't want to share her parents arguments with anybody as she doesn't feel right to talk about on this matter.

She have full faith in God, prays to God always and share her thoughts and emotions to God. She thinks that God can only help her and show her the path to her dreams.

She has to struggle in every era of her life. Sometimes, she cries in silent not letting anyone know about her pain because, she thinks that it will be hard for the people to understand her circumstances.
