When she realize it's Osman on the other end, her heart flutters like a falcon's wings

"Hi" she said in her softiest voice.

"Deeba, batao kaisi ho? I'm worried"

"I'm just a little sick" Deeba replied still shocked it's Osman.

"Temperature kitna hai? Check it now and tell me"

"Ok wait" she answered after a minute "It's 100"

"Kuch khaya aap ne?" Osman's voice was soothing her.

"Ji, tablet bhi leli maine cousin doctor se puchkar" Now smile overtook her face.

"Oh okay, take good rest. I think you were calling someone else. So I'll talk to you later," He says and drops the call wondering how she got his number in the first place.

Deeba couldn't believe that she dialed Osman. The man of her prayers. And the conversation they just had was as if they knew each other all their life.

She dialed her manager and repeated what she accidentally told Osman. Despite illness she slept the most peaceful sleep she had in a while after the call.

All she did that day was eat and sleep and was still feeling weak. Her temperature rose twice that day.

At the end of the day Osman called her again.

"Hello, how are you now?" A deep voice soothe Deeba once again. "A lot better" she reply.

"Still have fever?"

"No, just feeling a little weak"

"So, are you going for work in the morning?"

"I haven't decided anything yet. Maybe yes"

"I advise you to take rest".

"Ok, aap fikr na kariye Osman" She said it with care in her tone.

"Ek baat puchu?" Osman finally asked out of curiosity "Aap ko mera number kahan se mila?"

"Vet clinic se. That day at the vet, when you weren't going to come, I thought of thanking you over the phone. After taking your number I forgot my cellphone there and that's why I had to come back only to find you standing right there." She smiled from ear to ear at the sweet memory.

Osman realized that she had his number even before the bet with Awad.

"Phir kabhi call kyun nahi kiya?"

Deeba had no words, but when she opened her mouth to speak the words that came out of her mouth were "Aap single ho ya nahi mujhe malum nahi hai na"

Osman was completely shocked at the other end while Deeba covered her mouth with her palm.

"Aap janna chahti hain?"

Deeba desperately wanted to know so she said "Haan"

After a moment long silence and building curiosity in Deeba,

Osman finally dared to say

"Yes, and to change that,

Will you MARRY me?"

His heart beat stopped for a while.

Deeba nodded and started crying, she was unable to speak. After wiping the tears she said

"Yes, I always prayed for you, I love you so much."

Osman released the breath he was holding all this time.

The relief and happiness he felt was unimaginably great.

"I love you tooit's just that I lied to myself all this time."

Deeba was always close to her mom, she told her all about Osman's kindness and how she fell in love with him.

Her mom seemed to like Osman untill she saw his photo.

"You like a guy who is bald? Look at his car, it's smaller than his weight." She commented. "Tumhare liye maine Dubai me jo rehta hai Husna aunty ka beta usey pasand kiya tha. Kitna acha lagta hai wo ladka. Boht achi jodi lagegi."

Deeba couldn't take it anymore "First I don't 'like' him, I love him. The man you are talking about isn't ordinary man. He isn't the man of my dreams, he is the man of my prayers".

She wasn't finished yet "His car maybe small but his heart isn't. Why don't you see the weight of his heart. That's what matters, right"

Her mom was still displeased.

Even though their love story was priceless, Osman made up a story to tell it to his parents so that they don't question about how they started talking or dislike Deeba for no reason.

"A woman met with an accident with my car outside the bank, I had to save her life so I took her to the GRH hospital. Paid for her hand's surgery. Her family was nice to me even though she was injured because of me. And then I visited her every day at the hospital and she fell in love with me and so did I."

Mrs & Mr.Zafar sat on the sofa so still, trying to absorb what he just told them with eyes wide open.

Osman waited for them to say something... anything.

Mr. Zafar looked at her wife and then at Osman and said "Garv hai tujhpe Beta".

His mom asked."Ladki se kab milwaoge"

"Yakeen nahi ho raha ise kisine pasand bhi kiya" his dad said and chuckled.

"Mr. Zafar aur unka taunts kabhi na khatam hone wale" Osman replied.

Later when Deeba's mom met Osman her prospective about idle husband for her daughter changed a lot.

She did started to like Osman and was glad Deeba's father made the final decision.

Deeba received large square package without a name. She opened it and found a mesmerising painting of the Falcon flying over the field. It was exact same view they saw that day.

Her heart melted. She couldn't hold her emotions and thanked Allah with eyes filled with tears.

They got married soon and lived Happily Ever After.
