" Hence proved, first love never lasts long... " He read the final line from the story she wrote and closed the diary gently. His gaze shifted to the woman who meant the world to him, now lying unconscious on the hospital bed. "You’re wrong, my sweetheart," He whispered, brushing a hand over her hair. " First love does last when it's true on both sides & fate walks with you. " He smiled softly as the memories returned to the days when he admired her from afar. He recited a prayer under his breath and blew it gently over her, like a silent wish for her healing. But what haunted her was a different truth. She regretted. " I shouldn't have texted him that day… I ruined everything. If only I’d stopped myself… if only... " Welcome to the world of Iram and Shaizaan. A tale of heartbreak, healing, and an unexpected love that feels divinely written. Are you ready? Because "Shaizaan" is not just a name. It’s a feeling. It’s a secret I have been carrying in my heart.

Izhaan and his friends dropped Iram near a restaurant which was close to the company address Shaizaan sent.

“ We will pick you up from here after 3-4 hours.” Izhaan said and Iram nodded.

Iram was walking towards the address with help of maps app in her phone. And that's when it hit her.

“ Yes, correct. It will be dangerous. Dangerous for me. What if I get injured while helping them? Or maybe, worse, they kidnapped me too?" Overthinking crowned her mind.

" But wait, Iram, you offered them your help. Don't get weak now. You are courageous. ” Iram was talking to herself while searching the company at the location.

She regretted in her mind.

“ All these K-dramas gave me false courage. In real life, nothing goes like that. Nothing smooth. What trouble have I gotten myself into?” Iram pouted. She felt anxious meeting Shaizaan.

Stepping into the company, she asked the receptionist about appointment and before she can tell much, Iram was taken towards the office by an employee.

“ Shaizaan Sir informed me about your arrival. He told me to take you to the office directly.” The employee informed while entering the lift. Iram nodded.

Iram entered the cabin wearing her backpack. She was nervous yet determined.

“Where’s my certificate? You promised you’d give it when we meet. Now give it to me.” Iram said standing near his desk, her tone sharp.

“So impatient! Not even greetings first, Miss Iram?” Shaizaan replied with a half smile, not looking up immediately from his file.

“I didn’t come here for chit-chats. My certificate, please.” Iram said irritated already.

“ Currently I have other plans. You know I'm a businessman. I have meetings to attend…” Shaizaan stood up and looked at her. Iram was pissed off.

Iram crossing her arms said, “My certificates, please.”

“You really think things are that simple, Miss Iram?” Shaizaan asked.

“ You are breaking your promise. You said you'll give me the certificates when I'll meet you.” Iram confronted him with anger detectable in her voice.

Shaizaan sat again and leaning back on his office chair, he said in his calm voice,

“I didn’t make such promises.”

“ I have the recording.” Iram replied with determination visible in her eyes.

“ Sure. Listen to it again. You’ll see, I never promised anything.” Shaizaan smirked.

Iram stood still, her confidence slightly shaken. Shaizaan notices and tilts his head.

“ Are you doubting yourself, Miss Iram?” He asked.

Iram presses her lips, frustrated.

“ You can hear the recording, Miss Iram. You can clearly hear me say, ‘I'll give you the certificates only after our meeting.’ I didn't mention giving them on our first meeting itself.” Shaizaan chuckled at the end.

Iram walked towards his desk and slammed her hands on it. A loud sound was heard in the serious silent atmosphere of the office cabin.

“Fine. Tell me what you want. Let’s just get this over with.” Iram looked at Shaizaan furiously while Shaizaan eyed her angrily as slamming on desk was disrespectful.

Shaizaan covered his emotions. He smirked and slowly opened his drawer. He took out a file but didn’t pass it immediately.

“You’re in such a hurry. At least sit, have patience.”

Shaizaan clearly knew how to piss her off. His calm voice and smile were killing Iram inside.

When he saw Iram didn't move in the next few seconds, he slid the file towards her.

Iram flipped open file. Her eyes narrowed seeing the legal papers of a contract.

“What’s this? One hundred days contract? I'll have to work for you? And if I fail, not only do I lose my certificates, I have to pay you ten thousand rupees? What nonsense is this?” Iram looked at Shaizaan in shock.

Shaizaan shrugged, as if it was nothing unusual.

“This is clearly a blackmail.” Iram said.

“ Call it whatever you want. But the pen is right in front of you.”

“And what if I refuse to sign?” Iram asked.

Shaizaan leaned forward, eyes locked on hers and said, “Then you walk out empty-handed. Simple.”

Iram wanted to give a tight reply to him but she stayed quiet. She knew doing that might worsen the case.

Shaizaan saw her controlling herself. For a second, Shaizaan’s expression softened.

He sighed and took back the file. He scratches out ‘10,000 rupees paid as penalty’.

“ Fine. No penalty. Happy?”

“ How can I be happy when I'm with you…” Iram thought in her mind.

“ Why the sudden mercy?” Iram asked with neutral face.

“Because I’m not here to take your money. I just want your effort.” Shaizaan replied, making eye contact with her.

Iram chuckled.

“One hundred days with you. I hope I stay alive on 101th day.” Iram said while picking up the pen from the desk.

“Don’t worry. You’ll survive. Maybe even learn something.” Shaizaan teased.

“ Yeah, sure. Anything for you…” Iram replied without thinking twice as she signed the contract.

“ Now, you are mine for a hundred days.” Shaizaan said without thinking twice as well.

Shaizaan was stunned to speak. Her words make his heart beat differently.

‘Anything for you...’ His mind kept playing her voice repeatedly.

And Iram looked up and made eye contact with him. Her heart skipped a beat hearing those words. Placing her hand on the chest, she could feel tachycardia.

Just then, the cabin door burst open. Shaizaan’s friends walk in, full of energy. They were all laughing and smiling but stopped sensing a different aura in the cabin.

Iram saw them and rotated her chair in seconds to avoid them.

The contract papers file was already in Shaizaan's hand.

Omar and Izhaan wanted to know if Iram came and they talked about the contract or did they sign it already. But Kaif spoke first before them.

“Bro, we’ve made plans! Bags packed, everything ready. Now come join us!” Kaif grinned and sat on the couch.

“And guess what? A girl will also be helping us.” Huzaifa informed and joined Kaif on the couch.

Omar and Izhaan watched Shaizaan standing from the door.

“A girl? Why?” Shaizaan asked.

“ So, what happened was…” Kaif quickly explained the situation.

“ Wait, what's her name again?” Shaizaan asked as he felt he heard the wrong name.

“ Iram” Kaif answered.

“ Her?” Shaizaan pointed at the rotated chair showing the back side to the friends.

Iram nodded her head in denial as only Shaizaan could see her, asking him not to do so.

“ Miss Iram…” Shaizaan said sternly.

Iram felt goosebumps. She rotated her chair with an awkward smile and waved at the friends.

“ Yes, her.” Omar and Izhaan replied strongly, sending glares in his direction.

“ Wow, Iram. You are before time. You still have like an hour before meeting us.” Kaif walked to her and stood next to her.

Izhaan was unaware that his cabin was being used for the contract meeting with Iram. He just knew Shaizaan is at his office cabin in the company. He thought maybe he was reading their old project’s details. And that the meeting could be at the restaurant as they dropped Iram there. Izhaan was controlling his anger.

Shaizaan’s jaw tightens, his face turning stormy.

“ You people have no idea how dangerous that place is. She could get hurt.” Shaizaan said angrily.

Hearing this, Iram thought that by taking his side, she could escape the trip.

Iram quickly jumps in and said,

“ He’s right. It’s risky.”

Shaizaan looked at Iram confused. She smiled at him.

“ No, listen. We need a girl. Someone who’ll stay with Emaan. She’ll be more comfortable that way.” Izhaan explained.

“ That’s what her husband is for.” Shaizaan gestured towards Huzaifa.

“ Yeah, but a girl understands another girl better. Even if we’re all there, Iram can do more. And she’s a doctor too!” Huzaifa replied using his hands like giving a presentation.

“ Medical student.” Iram was correcting them but at the same time Shaizaan said the same firmly.

They both glanced at each other.

“ Bhai please. Let her. It will be more fun.” Kaif pleaded with Shaizaan.

“ How will that be fun? We'll have to be responsible for taking care of her.”

“ Yeah, you do that. I'll enjoy her company.” Kaif grinned and high-five Iram.

Shaizaan thought for a second.

“ I can test her capabilities there.” Shaizaan said to himself.

“ Moreover, bhai, we always went alone on trips. This time we'll see what changes when a girl joins…” Kaif said.

“ Fine.” Shaizaan reluctantly gave in and signed the contract.

“ But this doesn’t count as Day 1 of the contract.” Shaizaan said, looking at Iram.

She snaps back,

“ What do you mean? I signed today. Day 1 starts now.”

Kaif joined them and said teased,

“ You know, ‘Day 1’ usually means the first day of a relationship. Boyfriend-girlfriend vibes, you know?”

But his laugh didn't last long as he received deadly glares from both, Iram and Shaizaan.

“ Fine. 20th of August 2025, marks the first day.” Shaizaan announced and stood up.

“ Let's go eat first.” Huzaifa said.

Iram smiled and joined them.
